Learning to go inward, with awareness and presence we can experience the wholeness of who we are. The Moon energies are a very grounding presence to accompany these ancient practices with the flow of our natural cycles or rhythms. Where the New Moon is a time to set intentions in growing your present and future self, the Full Moon is a time to imbibe the benefits of those intentions. Whether you are on the New or Full Moon silent meditation retreat, nature will play a deep part in our experience of moving inward to touch the vibration of silence. Full Moon Gazing from our mountain oasis is a special experience in nature that will connect you to a deep sense of your own inner light. We will walk the land and sit in designated places on the mountain to experience Tratak Meditation on the Moon’s Rise.

As you arrive for silent meditation retreat and into the end of the second day, we will observe and practice silence in various ways: a powerful pranayam practice, silent meditation techniques, forest bathing, yoga & movement practices, Yoga Nidra, as well as during our meals and personal self study time. Using many silence-enhancing practices we will build toward deep silence and break silence after dinner on the 3rd night. Each practice is designed to bring harmony to your Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual bodies so that a state of ease can be reached. Yoga, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra & Forest Bathing are all scientifically proven to reduce stress and enhance overall wellness.

Though Silent Meditation Retreat can be an intimidating concept, the practice of Yoga Nidra, or guided relaxation, can help many find calm and promote deep states of concentration which balances emotional states and promotes deeper sleep. Being Silent in nature is one of the keys to calming your nervous system and going deeper into yourself, therefore the Art of Forest Bathing will be enjoyed and woven throughout the weekend. Kristin aims to be “In Service of Life.” Devoted to the process of transformation, she loves being a guide for anyone on the path of enriching, healing, or deepening into the Mystery and the Wholeness of themselves.

Her offerings are infused with a deeper knowledge and mindfulness born of her decades of devotion to the lifestyle and study of Yoga, Vipassana Meditation, Natural Movement and modern Biomechanics.

She co-guides all of her programs with and in the profound wisdom and beauty of nature.

She is the Director of Programs for VSHR, an E-RYT 200/RYT 500 registered instructor with Yoga Alliance, a certified Yoga Therapist with the IAYT, and a Restorative Exercise Specialist in Katy Bowman’s “Nutritious Movement” program.
