Pausing. Learning to go inward, with awareness and presence, can bring us into a new and powerful alignment. Embodiment is one of the essentials keys to releasing many of our proposed problems, yet the mind very persistently draws us out. This journey will be a somatic yogic journey that will share time tested tools to connect your mind back to the body. The Moon energies accompany these ancient practices as they mirror our natural cycles or rhythms.

3 night / 4 day option:
As you arrive you will begin to learn and live the 8 limbs of Yoga. We will observe and practice silence in various ways: pranayama practice, meditation/concentration techniques, yoga nidra, sound bathing, forest bathing, movement practices, as well as silence during our meals and personal self-study time. In each practice we will build toward deeper silence. Each practice is scientifically proven to reduce stress and designed to bring harmony to your Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual bodies so that a state of ease can be reached.

For many, silence or meditation can be an intimidating concept, but in this introduction, there will be tools for everyone. The practice of yoga and pranayama help to center the mind and body preparing us for stillness. The practice of Yoga Nidra, or guided relaxation, can help many find calm and promote deep states of concentration which balances emotional states and promotes deeper sleep. Being silent in nature is medicine for calming your nervous system and going deeper into yourself, therefore the Art of Forest Bathing will be enjoyed and woven throughout the weekend.

Yogic Eating is a key to great health: at each delicious meal you will practice the simple and profound qualities in Yogic or Mindful eating in silence. This is a profound and personal weekend, where each step we take together lays the foundation for your success in bringing internal balance and harmony, allowing for the state of silence and its benefits.
5 night / 6 day option (extend 2 nights at the end of the course):
Want to dive even deeper? Please stay for an additional 2 nights to take what you have learned and put it into practice. There is nothing more potent than consistency when we are forging new habits. If you want to go into an even deeper experience of silence, these next days will have minimal guidance or interruption. We will have 2 guided classes a day, plus mealtimes. Otherwise, you will be welcomed to design your perfect days of silence. *Please register for the 3-night option and call us to discuss the extended stay, so we can curate it together.
