Welcome to The Art of Healthy & Blissful Living Yoga Retreat. This weekend retreat will be a deeper look at the Science of the Yogic path while examining modern stressors such as anxiety, fear, depression and chronic conditions born of the over stimulation and exhaustion due to stress. This time together will offer great rejuvenation and healing for your nervous system. As you dive into growing your Self in many ways learn more about the science of your own mind-body system, connect with daily practice and experience the benefit of discipline (or tapas) within your practice, in order to reduce stress in the life. You will practice a particular pranayama practice twice a day and will become proficient with this skill, gaining the ability to create a home practice by the programs end. There will be ample time to connect to nature; through meditation (both inside and outside), doing forest bathing in the redwoods enjoying a soak at the hot springs as well as simple leisure time to let your body rest and repair.
