We are on 200+ acres of private land and have neighboring hot springs and exquisite Sequoia trees to visit. This remote location has very little cell and internet coverage adding to this opportunity to unplug from your everyday distractions in order to give yourself time for reflection and the personal healing that we love to help facilitate.  We invite you to come back to your inner connection through yoga, breathwork, meditation… through connecting with nature and attuning to the circadian rhythms while allowing yourself the time to just BE in peace and quiet.

This luxurious form of massage comes from the Indian system of Ayurveda, or the science of life. It is a holistic healing massage therapy with innumerable health benefits. It is considered that there is no better expression of self-love than anointing ourselves from head to toe with warm, Ayurvedic oil. The warm medicated oils used in Abhyanga deeply penetrate the cells to help move the lymphatic system, promoting the release of toxins from our body. It has other great benefits as a self-care practice such as: eliminates body impurities and helps in reducing weight, calms the nerves and promotes deeper more restful sleep, improves blood circulation and stimulates internal organs, lubricates the joint and nourishes the tissue, balances the doshas.

  • Some deeper muscle work is added as required.
  • After this process you will enter the steam shower and allow the pores to open and draw in the nourishing oils. This process is very restorative to the entire mind/body system and will leave the skin feeling like spun silk.

Each shower is equipped with a steam and infrared sauna option. As an aspiring eco retreat center and as stewards of the land we work to minimize the impact on the water and power. Therefore this is an additional option for that luxurious day or is added to the massage services above. We also have 2 rooms with beautiful bathtubs that can be used for this fee but are otherwise reserved for the Goddess Packages below.

The practice of Yoga Nidra is a beautiful somatic experience to accompany any style of retreat. It is commonly called Yogic Sleep. This technique of guided meditation begins to still the waves of the mind offering a journey into the deeper layers of the Self. It enables the nervous system to move into parasympathetic response which has many benefits including; the reduction of mental and emotional stress, inflammation, anxiety, as well as a very useful tool for promoting restful sleep. This practice is most often shared in the evening before bed but can be taught at any time. The process will be anywhere from 1 to 1.5hrs. For a group of 5 or more it will be $200 for the group.

“Yoga for the Spirit” is a 2 to 3-hour journey combining gentle movement as well as therapeutic and restorative yoga in an effort to experience the layers of our being, or our “5 Kosha’s” as taught in the Yogic system. This is a journey from the more gross experience of the physical body to the more subtle experience of our mind, emotions and deeper states of Self. Layering this movement practice, with breathwork, self-massage techniques and aromatherapy will ensure a deeply relaxed physical form penetrating through the muscular system, soft tissue matrix, and internal organs, to the more subtle layers of energy, mind and nervous system. We end this journey in the most subtle aspects of self, through the soothing universe of Yoga Nidra and Sound Bathing. This well-balanced yoga experience is sure to deliver total renewal of Body, Mind and Spirit. For a group of 5 or more it will be $350 for the group. – H

Along with the Pranayam Practice, we offer an informative lecture on the stress response as it plays out behind the scenes in our everyday lives. When you combine the Intellectual knowledge received in this lecture with the Experiential knowledge of practicing the morning pranayama practice as well as the restorative “Yoga for the Spirit” workshop, you
will receive the gift of a true bridge to understanding some deeper layers of the human body-mind health, that has shifted out of balance for so many of us in the modern world. For a group of 5 or more it will be $300 for the group.

We are not in any way separate from nature, in fact we are made of the same exact material, and we are deeply influenced when in her presence. The exchange between humans and nature on a physiological level is extremely healing and this has been known for thousands of years. Modern science has proven that time in the forest provides a myriad of healing benefits. Why a guided experience? Often when we go out into nature alone or in a group and tend to be engaged outwardly with our smart phones, listening to music or taking pictures, or we are engaged in stimulating conversation with others. In this way we miss the opportunity to tune into the details and healing available in the present moment, in that connection. So forest bathing is a meditative guided experience through the forest that includes some breathing practices, silent time alone in deep contemplation and a tea ceremony. For a group of 5 or more it will be $250 for the group.

If you are suffering from a chronic, or acute condition, Kristin can do a private session with you to assess and troubleshoot with you. She will then create a hand tailored personal practice for you to take home. This process can take 2-3 hours for a first session and will include a homework packet emailed to you as well as references to create self-care practices to assist you in your personal healing.

  • We are limited in the number of Massages and Yoga Therapy sessions we can facilitate on a short weekend. -With the offerings above we can work together to create the most optimal and healing experience for your group. If you have the luxury of time and can stay for 3 or more nights, we can accommodate all of the above and will work to meet your budgetary needs.
