Art of Healthy and Stress-Free Living,

2 Nights/ 3 Days Retreat

For our ancestors, stress was a survival skill during brief, life threatening situations. Once the danger passed, their stress levels lowered. However, in today’s world, we are constantly bombarded by stressors, such as work deadlines, traffic, and family obligations. We rarely get a break long enough to relax and relieve the stress. The over-activation of our stress hormones have been linked to high blood pressure, heart attacks, lower immunity, depression, anxiety, and more.

As soon as the body becomes aware of something that is perceived as a danger, it has an incredible and beautiful system that immediately raises the pulse and produces a cocktail of stress HORMONES. Which is good if it happens once in a long time, not as much if it happens every hour, 24 hours of the day, 365 days in a year.

The body produces three (3) different stress hormones and always all three at the same time:

Understanding these Hormones and the effect they have on your body and health long term can help work with them better and be Stress Free. Not just manage or control it.

Lot of discussion is centered around health organic eating, when to eat and what to eat. Ayurvedic diets, simple healthy vegetarian meals and how to cook them. Simple spices that can be used for every day effective remedies without any side effects. Essential oils for Joyful Living and the Alchemy of Emotions.

Unplugging from Internet and plugging into nature and back to basics. Connecting to nature, hiking and meditating with the Giant Sequoia Trees.

You will learn a simple practice if done for 30 to 45 minutes daily you will find yourself full of energy throughout the day, increased focus and creativity, and helps with all types of physical aliments and stress.
